Welcome to Experience Astronomy!
Below are some resources you’ll need to get your school year off to good start.
1. Get Your Calendar Set Up
The weekly video lessons match the order of outdoor observation assignments in the Field Guide, which contains most the basic homework assignments for the school year.
The Field Guide assignments are to be done in order. They track with the way the sky changes throughout the school year, which is why you need to follow the suggested dates.
If your group schedule doesn’t quite line up, don’t worry. On weeks you don’t meet when there is a video lesson, just have your students watch the lesson online.
Also remember to mark your calendar for the live sessions Mr. Gilkerson will be teaching. Again, if you don’t meet as a group at those times, be sure students watch the sessions online or watch the recordings later.
2. Download Your Materials
