The Astronomy Club is perfect for parents who want their children to go more in depth with the subject of astronomy or for older students looking to earn high school credit.
What is the cost?
The cost is $150 extra PER FAMILY (not per child). Have as many students in your immediate family take advantage of the club as you want.
What About High School Credit?
We do not assign high school credit to students, as laws differ from region to region. In most states, students need to accumulate at least 120 hours of instruction and course work to receive a high school credit.
If your student (1) completes all the course lectures, (2) takes all the quizzes and exams, (3) completes all recommended readings, and (4) completes all outdoor observation assignments as part of the regular course, and if your student (5) attends all Astronomy Club live events, and (6) completes at least 10 of the 20 optional assignments in the book Experience Astronomy: Going Deeper, we believe they will have accumulated more than enough hours to qualify for a high school credit.
